Welcome

Hello,
Welcome to The Sea Inside a Shell... I thought i would post a lot of stuff... but i turned out to be lazier than i thought... anyways... i'm going to use this place to showcase some digital paintings that i have created using Corel Painter & a graphic tablet. Please feel free to drop in your comments.

If you're wondering about the name...I picked it from a song that I was listening to by The Clientele - My own face inside the trees...
"Like the sea inside a shell,
everything speaks to itself,
darkness comes at half past three,
my own face is in the tree."

-Sunil Thakkar.

Hey,
I see some of the digital paintings staring at me from my cupborad or nuts' bedroom.. and frankly i have never really given them or you the much deserved inputs...... so here it is..(for a change you have to take them in)
Greenwich walk reminds me of cold winter mornings ... possibly because of the various shades of grey and blue however suprisingly its a far cry from being gloomy ...which according to me is a real challenge.....
Step into the light ..just one word ..its chic, incredibly sexy and chic ...
viadellamore.. is my personal favourite ...i love everything about it ...the entire small coastal sunny town, the various colours ..the details and the water body ... the strokes used are lovely ....
ok have to go in for a meeting shall give my comments on the rest later.... wont be doing them justice if i do this in a hurry ...lol

All the work looks great!
Two things, the leaf shadows in "Greenwich Walk" stand out too much for my eye. If you want, try blending them into the path or feathering them, if that possible in Painter. The other is that the guitar in back in "Guitar Mosaic" looks too flat in comparison to the guitar in front.
Keep up the work.
